Unlike conventional buttons on fastening bands, the Lanybutton® is movable and can be placed wherever you like on the band. What makes the Lanybutton® so special is the high quality finish, 3D design and the unique fastening. Lanybook® develops and manufactures emblems of the highest standard for renowned companies and brands. That’s why each Lanybutton® undergoes a complex machining process and must pass rigorous quality controls. After the metal is cast, each button is polished by hand, lending it a personal touch. Then, the button moves on to the next phase: alloying. Finally, each side of the button is carefully checked again and finely polished until the edges are smooth. The result: brilliant, glossy surfaces with a sensual feel. This finishing touch completes the work of art that is a Lanybook® notebook – the perfect ambassador of your brand.
Unique weaving technique
In order to meet the highest standards, we’re constantly developing our notebook and its elastic band. Our Lanyband® elastic fastener is made with a revolutionary weaving technique. It offers a level of comfort when opening and closing that is unique in the world of notebooks and calendars. The exceptional quality of the materials we use also make the Lanyband® extremely durable and resilient. Three layers of the finest polyester yarn are woven together with a natural rubber core using a special technique that guarantees maximum elasticity and an exceptional feel.
By using a wide fastening band, Lanybook® has influenced the market and many other manufacturers have adopted this feature since. Another innovation of ours is the band’s fastening system – the patented Lanyclip® – it holds the book closed securing any inserted sheets of paper.

Our books are made exclusively from paper approved by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). Members of this important, non-profit body include environmental organizations, the forestry sector and representatives of forested regions. The FSC is committed to ensuring that forests are managed using sustainable, socially responsible methods. The FSC seal of approval guarantees that the wood used in the final product comes from sustainably managed forests. Every FSC-certified company undergoes an annual review to ensure it complies with established guidelines. Each Lanybook® is manufactured exclusively from FSC paper. The FSC’s aim is to preserve forests. To this end, it establishes fully protected woodland and encourages sustainable forestry. It has laid out strict criteria on how forests should be managed to prevent unlicensed deforestation, human rights violations and environmental pollution.
